Transitional

Transitional architecture gets its name because it falls in a transitional zone between the traditional and modern styles. On the spectrum of design styles, the traditional side features elements like ornate moldings, rich colors, and divided-light windows.

British West Indies

British West Indies style architecture is currently a popular architectural style for new homes here in coastal Florida. A mix of classical aesthetic principles with sunny, tropical flavor honoring natural materials, it's easy to see why this style is also good fit for a Florida waterfront home

Modern

Modern architecture is a style of building that emphasizes function and a streamlined form over ornamentation. This design aesthetic is a departure from more elaborate and decorated homes like Queen Anne, Victorian, or Gothic Revival styles. Modern architecture usually involves sharp, clean lines.

Michael Bade is a gifted designer, thoroughly grounded in all practical aspects of design and construction. He was instrumental in our major, major renovation of a 1980s "contemporary" that is now a stunning 21st century modern home. There were a never-ending series of difficulties arising from the original structure, but Michael approached each problem with creative engineering and - almost as important - patience and a sense of humor. He was responsive, collaborative, and persistent. He is also now a good friend - not always the case after a project like this!" -C. Hooper, Boca Grande, Florida
